KP Dance Center is a top dance studio with three locations in Long Island (Kings Park, Northport and Smithtown. We offer classes for dancers of all ages and abilities in Ballet, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Tap, Contemporary, Lyrical and Modern as well as voice and acting.

​We believe that dance education is more than just instruction, and promotes positive self-esteem while instilling the love and appreciation for dance and movement.

Our expectation is for each dancer to reach his/her potential and we provide individual attention, no matter what level they are at.

What We're Looking For

KP Dance Center is looking for instructors who are experienced, friendly, engaging and genuinely interested in helping our students to develop their love of dance.

Roles and Responsibilities

Teach classes to a wide range of children and/or adults with patience and understanding

Plan and deliver outstanding lessons that are engaging and allow students to progress their abilities

Choreograph routines for our year-end performance in June

Attend various meetings throughout the year

Meet any deadlines given. For example; finishing routines, handing in music, choosing costumes etc.

Attend our mandatory dress rehearsal week leading up to our performances, and attend on the day of the recital to help backstage.

Be friendly to everyone at our studio and give lots of compliments to our students.
